Our Story

In 1991, Michele Karwoski relocated from New England to Raleigh with only her horse and a dream. Today, that dream thrives as M & M Tack Shop where she & her staff have served both our human and equine customers with quality merchandise and service.

Our philosophy to include an educational component has guided horse owners and riders of varying disciplines to make good choices that encompass health, safety and wellbeing. Always with the safety and health of both horse and rider in mind, we continue to expand our services with professional saddle and helmet fittings.

In 2021 we proudly celebrated our 30th anniversary serving the equestrian community.
